I was just trying to make the point that it's kind of the news story of the week, and if it wasn't, a lot of people probably wouldn't care as much, or be aware of the problem. Not trying to say that people don't genuinely care.
You know people, reading or watching the news really isn't that hard so I bet many of the protesters will actually be legit. As long as your heads not up your ass this is a huge issue, what the Olympic Flame stands for is not being reflected upon the current and past situations in not only Tibet but China itself.
I think protesting the Olympics is kinda stupid it stands against everything the games are supposed to stand for. Countries are supposed to put aside their differences and just compete.
