Snowbladers tearing up Breck

There was a crew of snowbladers tearing up park lane today. We all saw it, now bow down. Rodeo 7 truckdriver on a 25 footer? He must have his own pro model. Too bad if he did it on actual skis he would just be another mediocre summit county park rider. But still. Snowbladers killing it, where's the edit at?

the same crew was at keystone on saturday, it was soo funny. everyone in the lift line was giving them tons of shit. best quote i heard all day was when a snowboarder asked one of the bladders "so you do big mountain on those things?"

I dont get skiboarding or snowblading whatever you call it. I guess it's for the people that cant do the tricks on real skis and have to step down to the baby ski to get a spin. you could call it laziness.

no need to hate or insult people just because you don't get it.

I'll admit it was fun the day I did it.  I wouldn't want to use them 90% of the time, but when you are in a fun mood it is entertaining.

The sad part about the quotes in this thread are that if you actually felt confident in your own skiing ability, you wouldn't have to give them crap to make yourself look better.

hahaha, I asked them about their "snowblades" and they said "they're not snowblades, they're ski boards, they are fatter and twin tip" 

They were actually nice kids, it was tough to tell if they were serious or not at first...they were.  I guess one guy was a pro rollerblader.  Bunch of them were from Europe.

That is too bad that kids were being dicks to them.  I talked to them on Sunday at Breck and they were super nice kids.  They were just stoked to be on the mountain.  In fact, some of them were pretty talented too.

I don't get all the hate., who cares what they were riding?  Just ski and have fun.

I think like a 120-130 length ski would be pretty fun, no poleing it around on.  They'd be stable enough I think. anyone agree?

In my honest opinion, a 720 is much harder on snowbladez than on skis....

...that doesnt mean i approve of snowblading in any way, just soemthing id lik to throw out there.

amen to that bro. I was one of them there. It was great to see some support and realize that not all of you on here are complete assholes. some huge stuff went down, and several of us also have "big boy skis" 

I noticed most of the shit we got was from people that didn't have any skill, the guys that were totally killing it there tended to give us props. the pro rollerblader is borja fernandez from spain, google that shit. and please guys, talk shit on adam lynam's cork 9's, they were fucking nuts. he rides rossi scratch 180's most of the time, so anyone else talking about us riding "snowblades" because they're easier, save it.

We had a bit of an issue with a snowboarder, he started yelling shit from the lift line. but when he got down towards us, he took off. we found him later and took him down... hit his head pretty hard.

i have no hate towards twin tips, snowboards, snowbikes, whatever. when you guys talk shit and hate on us we just feed on it, so please. keep the hate coming. i love it. it keeps me alive.

and lastly, those that support freedom of CHOICE and doing what you enjoy doing simply because you enjoy doing it ( and not because everyone else does it )

wrong. Snowblading is fun if its a warm spring day and you feel like being a complete joey. Kids who take snowbladeing seriously or respect those who take snowblading seriously are complete fags.
