it seems obvious that its will ferrell cuz he hasnt had a bad movie like nacho libre, but then i saw semi-pro so it becomes a better debate

Will Ferrel is the shit and i love his movies but his humor does get a little repetitive after a while
Anchorman, Night At the Roxbury, Talaega Nights, all were excellent

Jack black is funny too but i havent seen to many of his movies. I heard orange county was pretty good, Ive seen saving silverman where he was alright i guess but not hilarious.

I would go with Will Farrell ftw

yeah but nacho libre wasn't his worst movie. i think you guys are all forgetting his movie Envy. that was jack blacks worst movie.

Old Will Ferrell in my opinion, but for more recent activity I'm going to go I'd go with Jack Black over Will Ferrell simply because of the diversity in his roles. Take a look at Ferrells last few movies, He's played the same character in every single one while Jack Black has really diversified his roles and hasn't fallen into a slump like Ferrell has. Both are undoubtedly two of the funniest actors out there though.

ya i don't know why everyone is saying it sucked.

it was actually one of his funnier movies.
and i can't see how it is even comparable to nacho libre that movie was fucking horrible.

I thought Semi Pro was fucking hilarious, I was so blunted and every line I was just dying with laughter.  Other Will ferrell movies like Anchorman sometimes take time to grow on me but I though Semi Pro was hilarious.
