so the other day in class, this kid did a presentation on skiing. worst and most embarassing thing ive ever heard. he said he can do backflips and is workin on double backs so he can go to the 'Junior X-games?!?!' is there a jr xgames? i think not, especially not for 17/18 year olds. then he shows a sick vid of seth throwin a back off a 50footer and explains that he is 'working on this trick, but hes not quite there.' he ends the presentation by saying 'thats just me, thats the way i live' now everyone that heard this further believe that skiing is for fags and this is the reason we will never get a video game or get really hot dime-pieces when we get famous.

yeah, skiings looked down and dissed on by snowboarders because like 90% of skiers are racers, mogul riders, or just faggest. The small 10% is the 'newschoolers' that push skiing by throwing zero spins and what not in the park.

I did a skiing presentation/speech, and since noone at our Mexican ass school knows about 'skiings revolution I told them to f old dudes with jeans and gaiters and look at the terrain park for the future of skiing. Then my teacher told me he wore jeans and skiied 210's. I was sad and embarraseesd, but I laughed cuz he is a gay dude from Santa Cruz

I ride with some of the most chill people in the world, the reason why....is because they don't have the 'sport' too seriously. if someone wants to get good and make a name for himself, cool, but with the people I ride with.....that's the last thing on our minds. skiing is skiing thanks to lots of events....many of which have already happened. I don't know where skiing is going to go over the years, but I'll still be riding just the same.

It's always funny to listen to rather under educated people write threads. It seems like the only descriptive word they can use is related to gay, fag...etc. Learn to think on your own, use words that actually get across what you are saying, not some fad word that you hear every kid use.
And i think that it is rather funny that you worry about skiers image as a whole, who cares do what you want, who cares if people agree with you, have fun. And if you really care about image, stop acting so ignorant.
