now. a cat always lands feet down
if i strapped a bunch of cats with all their feet facing outwards together and threw them into the air. would they fall on one cats feet? or be stuck in a state of quantum indecision?

One time I put my cat on our leather footstool, it spins. Started spinning it and he grabbed on for dear life, eyes got all big like haha. I didn't go that hardcore but he was already hopped up on catnip. He fell of the side and didn't land on his feet, and then sprinted away....
Cruelty to animals I know...he leads a pretty posh life, I don't want to hear it.

my cat once fell off my desk unexpectedly and he fell on his back ontop of the printer. so yeah, that just puts that theory to bullshot.

They actually do almost always land on their feet though, they just need enough time in the air to torque around their body. They can like turn their spine more than humans can so as they are falling, they do some really weird twist and then flip around and are right side up. I read about the physics of it in a book once.

that makes me to start wondering how good cats would be at skiing? cuz they would always land on their feet right? so they could do the most corked out shit and stomp it every time.

one time my cat ame in after the fround was wet so his paws wrer soaked,. then he ran into the kitchen onto tile, cause my dog was running at him. he slid out for like 5feet on his side then straight beasted it outta there before the dog could smell his butt.
