So I broke my dukes so my FKS's are going back on the pow skis. The holes are already drilled for the FKS's and I already took out the plugs....when I try to crank down the screws the the toe piece feels loose. When I took the FKS's off I noticed a 2mm plate and cant figure out if it goes on the toe or heel (it only appears to be able to go on the toe) Do I need this..? and I went down a boot size since using the FKS's can I adjust them by turning the screws on the bars on the heel...thanks for the help...
ok so I fixed the loose toe but now I cannot get one of the heel screws to screw down all the way(all the others go down all the way to the bottom... I am trying make the binders work with a boot one mondo size smaller...any help...
make sure you are twisting each screw on the heel peice the same amount. when you remount your bindings be sure to put loc-tite on the threads. good luck
FKS's only adjust around 5mm or so. Unless you're switching to Lange boots from something else you'll probably have to remount after moving an entire boot size.
the one binding I got to work with my new boot when I crank the rods all the way down.. but the other will not go all the way down, the one rod might be bent slightly....doesn anyone know the link to the thread on the diffrent parts ect. on ns or the one on tgr...
