Has anyone heard or seen anything that would show evidence of a binding similar to the duke but manufactured by rossignol. Or is it just a rumor that was started by some 12 year old? Thanks in advance for all the help.

The Naxo is a solid AT binding.

Dukes and FR+ are vastly different bindings. Naxos are slightly lower and a little stiffer than the FR+, so I don't see why you're disappointed in them. I've had mine for two seasons now and they've held up to 20+ footers in the backcountry and straightlining the second half of the Big Couloir at Big Sky. It's no replacement for a solid alpine binding, but they're great for what they're made for.

just to clarify, i am aware that they are vastly different bindings. i like the duke for its burliness and freeride for its climbing ability
