ski poles

While doing tricks, do you usually use ski poles or not? Because if you fall wrong they can impale you, and that wouldn't be good. Give me some feedback!

Shrek is confused -- what's more gay -- Skiboarders who aren't supposed to use poles, or Skiers who choose not to use poles?

You shouldn't try a misty, you might impale yourself. In fact, you shouldn't ski at all, because you might impale yourself.

Once my friend landed wrong after going off a huge jump and his pole went right through his side. Now he has to walk around with a pole sticking out of his stomach.

i don't like it when i see people with one pole- do they think that one pole makes them look less gay than the poeple with no poles?- SKI WITH POLES- or spend your entire skiing carreer looking like a fag!!!!

I think that little boy shrek is a snowlerblader. If he is older than twelve I would be very surprised, but it is a good point, as poles could hurt you, but you look too gay without them, so it is better to take the risk.

People rarely impale themselves--however as a patroller I carry a pole cutter in my pack just in case. If they do impale themselves--well they probably shouldn't have been on the slope anyway.

actually no i've never snowboarded, it's just awkward doing tricks with poles in your hands

ok, let me get one thing strait, im confused. How the hell do you impale yourself in the side or torso? your poles must be 3 feet long cause i sure as hell cant reach the tip of my pole to my chest unless i stretch my arm really really far.

you should get some really really long poles that are as tall as you. thats what all the cool kids do. either that or really really short ones. anything that would actually be your size is just bad.

always use poles. You'll look a lot more weird without poles then you would with them.
