for those of us who's season is basically done , how was it ? make any major improvements ?
i'd say i had a pretty solid season , this was my 2nd season really trying to get good at park . The year i finally got 270's and switch 270's on lock , which i was reall pumped on , and also finally threw a few 5's off some 25-30 jumps .. i'm content .

while i am hoping to still be skiing in june, the season so far has been great. tons of snow. my "progression" was sidelined by an ankle injury a couple months ago- i took a month totally off, and have been taking it pretty easy since. but i have become much better at skiing switch. so i guess thats something.

I had an awesome season! I moved from Central Florida to Boulder on January 19th and that weekend I went to Winter Park. I had a great first day out. Didn't fall much considering I hadn't been on skis in over a year. The next weekend after that I went to Breck, it was fucking cold. Then every week after that I went to Keystone. I hadn't done park in a couple years so it didn't come back to me really at all, so I mainly let the boys do their thing and I just did my thing all over the mountain. I have to go back home to Florida on the 1st of April so I'm really depressed that I didn't get to finish the season out. I hopefully have two more full days of skiing before I leave, so I'm probably going to be hitting The Bator hard. Hooray for 17 days1! HAHA!
PS. To all my new Colorado friends - I am going to miss you all and I will see you in August!

this is my first FULL season of park and i feel as though i really wasted it. i can still learn some stuff at t-line this summer, but all i got this season were 3s and boxes. i spent too much of my time thinking about doing stuff and not doing it. it really depresses me. whatev, i think that i will really progress next season though

amazing. I'm not going to claim the shit out of it, but amazing is the only adjective that describes my season.

this is my first year actually dedicated to park, although i have been skiing forever. i am really happy with it.
got 270's on and off, switch ups, spins up to 7 with decent grabs, a lot of grabs with 1s and 3s...
the only thing i regret was being too much of a pussy to try switch spins off the like 20ish foot jumps around...
anyways i might of progressed a little quicker since i've been skiing for about forever and just got into park seriously this year, but i think i did really good.

not quite over yet, but It was sick! went from Brookvale PEI last year (~200 vertical feet) to Marble Mountain Newfoundland (~1700 vertical). I learned right and left 3s, switch 3s and 270s on and off rails and boxes and got to ski a fair amount of pow for the east coast.

i still got 3-4 more months left, but im kinda pissed cause after about 100 days of skiing so far, i havent gotten any better at jumps, i got good grabs down, and corked stuff sometimes, but i started the season being able to do good 5's and semi good 7's and so far i havent improved my spins at all, ive done one 7 the whole season. i learned switch 3's on jumps up to 35-40 feet though, so thats ok.
on rails though i got switch ups on down rails and pretty much any rail, 270's onto rails both ways instead of just on boxes, i learned pretzels almost every way, 450's both ways, and 630's rightside.
i got about a month of good jumps left so im gonna have to step it up really fast, my goal this season was 9's and switch 7's and i still expect to get them!

ummm still 2 months to go and it's still snowing...
I've been riding deep powder from november till now, all over the place: Switzerland, Austria, Utah,Colorado... so I can't complain. Looking forward to 2 months of park skiing, but it looks like we're getting another big storm coming in.

this years season of mine was actually amazing. It was mas first solid year of pure park riding, last year i was sadly a gaper, straight airs and only straight rails and boxes, no spins...THis year i progressed alot. I charged at any jump lines i saw, learned a few grabs, got sum nice tweakage going on, got nice floaty 180's down over anything, got the switch 1's going. Finally steped it up and leanrd 3's and switch 3's, and tryed corked 3's. GOt the 270's and spins on boxes down. IM more of a rail guy and this year was by far my best year, i tried every rail i saw and nailed a bunch i thought id never do, triple kink, roller coaster....I now it sounds like a fat claim but this year was seriusly my best and funnest year of skiing period, i progressed alot and killed it with my buddies wherever we went, im pleased with the seaso and cant wait till windells.

just a word of advice, try cork 5's before cork 3's. cork 3's are supposed to be about 100000x harder, and they are on my tramp anyways hahah.

my season is basicly done now... two days ago (friday) i fell on a cat track being stupid and fucked my back up good. no break or anything, the muscles are just super tight and it hurts like hell...
with planting commin' up in a month i'm throwing in the towel for the winter so i can go make money over the summer.
as for how the season went - fuckin awsome. in my 20 or so years of this career we call skiing - this has by far been one of the most progressive since i first stepped foot in the park 10 years ago. I was also keeping a journal of all my days on skis this year and probably tomorrow I am going to put up some pics of my winter and maybe put up my skiing journal in my blog. as it stands right now I've got 85 days in the bag.

my season went pretty good. im dialed on down rails, gap rails, with new tricks on them that i learned. i landed a boardslide 270 out that i was super stocked on. but for the past month or two i have kinda stopped snowboarding... im gonna try and get up one more time before the lifts stop turning.

my season started really good with a lot of motivation but then i destroyed my thumb at the second weekend of the season and had surgery and the hand in plaster for 6 weeks which took alot of motivation away. but i learned alot of rail stuff, both switch ups, both 270s- 450s, switch up 27out, double switch ups, 27on pretz 27 out, did alot of rails which i haven't done before, ... On jumps i learned reverse mutes, double japans, switch 5s, brought alot of safety in my 7s, did a couple 9s and hit way bigger jumps than last season- it was a really fun season so far, but the season isn't over yet - 2 weekends and some glacier days left

not done until mid May ish, but the last half absolutely sucked, it included getting concussed, re injuring my knee that I fucked up really badly 2 years ago horseback riding and finding out I cannot go to Momentum. Also found out that this may be my last season skiing ever. Prolly going to just take it pretty mellow for the last bit, learn how to just ski for fun again.
