Definitely do small exercise, work it a little bit. Don't be super inactive. I guess...weed could help?
Biking will help a lot.
Specifically, what injuries do you have?

well chiro prators are gay. they give you instant grat but in the long run dont accomplish any thing go to an orthopedist.
i have back compression issue from landing my dor gave me this pad that helps elongate my back while i slepp it helps. as for my knees well not only did i ski and snowboard all my life i was a catcher in baseball for 17 years so i am just fucked there. ankle is shot from a high ankle spran in 98 that has now developed scar tissue that occasionlly pinches a nerve. just some things you youngins have to look forward to hah

and about my ankle. the dr suggested a surgery option. he said there is a 50/50 chance that he can correct the problem, but like a 20 percent chance it would be made worse. i dont think i like thos odds.

Start taking Glucosamine/chondroitin. It won't relieve your pain right away, but three or four months after you start taking it you'll notice your joints just feel better. For your ankles and knees, start stretching, and strengthening the surrounding muscles.

worf, scar tissue doesn't have to be permanent. this is true for anyone. chirporactic is a very powerful tool, however without soft tissue work to go along with it, you guys are correct, your problems with just come right back. look into a local doctor that does ART (active release technique) they use these guys in the NFL, NBA, etc for professional athletes, most people don't know about it, but i've had it done on areas of my neck and leg, and im just about back to full mobility now.
the guy with the ankle problem, take a tennis ball and roll all areas of the bottoms of your feet on them for a few minutes every day, see if that loosens up your ankles any.
