Woah... I am starting out as a freshman going to Champlain next year and have no idea what this was about. But from the above posts it seems as though its some sort of rail jam in burlington, and i guess a battle between schools. So UVM Saint Mikes and Champlain. Can someone further explain please??

its a slopestyle contest to see which school is the best of the three, snowboarding and skiing divisions. this is my first year since im a freshman, but it should be really fun. champlain won last year and i dont expect to lose this year. then again, if i did expect to lose it wouldnt be a very fun comp.

im so pissed. nobody cuz jeff and dave went and steve injured himself yesterday plus other steve has class. Stuck working all by myself although the park is so soft and prime right now.

pretty nice day, 2 ft of freshies in the woods, the course was pretty decent, kids were throwing down. only downside the comp was kinda disorganized

Actully im pretty sure they were allowed to considering they were in the competition. Lyndon is only 45 min from Jay and it was a really good day so i wouldent call it a waste of time. Most of those kids would have ridden Jay anyways. People here seem to  like to ski so a day skiing isent really considered a waste of time. Maybe over there it is.

what hes saying is that its the battle for burlington, not vermont... lyndon is way far away from burlington.

SMC won because they had the must amount of kids that waited forever to checked in, they were the nice little church going college kids and waited their turns. unlike champlain who just ran a bunch of trains a killed it, oh yeh judging was wack too

champlain didn have a chance anyway...they have jeff curry and then a bunch of kids who try to look the part but cant hold it down...i thot uvm would have taken it but i dunno..champlain needs to realize they got nothing
