Hardly my friend. Surface is privately held and has never taken on an investor. They get mad support from family and friends, this T-Shirt deal proves that. I think it's dope. I think you are jealous that they have more T-Shirts in this one little kit than you do in your entire "line" of clothing (which is whack by the way)So quit being so quick to talk shit about people - you should know better than that. by now.
weak play. you have no idea whats going on. in a little over a week i wont even own it anymore because its getting sold to a sick crew of kids who are going to completely revamp it and get it going. as for me, im working on other things. dont worry, when you want to apologize in a few months, ill probably forgive you.
i probably should have also mentioned that the shirt idea is sick. i think that it could lead to some very interesting uses... like wearing f-u-c... just to get people going. wish i had those shirts in highschool haha
my mom supports my ski company??
where do you get your facts?
mike Schneider is probably in debt up to his eyeballs with trying to keep surface going, on top of that he runs autumn garage, finseven clothing, and has two kids to raise. he's a one man show and needs all the help he can get. and i dont think he gets it from his mom necessarily, but the people who buy the products and friends who help out.
but surface in the last year has grown leaps and bounds, and i think they are only going to continue to grow, especially if ski trends fallow snowboarding surface will be the biggest shit out there. they're already the coolest in my book.
no, im not saying this is a cry for help to keep them in business. i was just commenting that this other kids comment that surface is supported by mikes mom.
from my interactions with surface it seems mike outs all his heart and sould into his endevours, and he has A LOT of them, so i figured he prolly had to take out a loan or two to get them of the ground.
that was so far over your head its in orbit.
maybe he should just pick something and stick to it.
stop spreading the capital around so much.
anyways, surface is a neet little company, I HOPE they can stick it out and get larger.
step one: get off TJ Schneiders dick, he isnt an artist... just a good snowboarder.
but mike schneider and tj schneider are two different people. i wasnt talking about tj, i was talking about mike.
and tj IS an artist. a very skilled and admirable one. take a modern art history class and research Jean Micheal Basquiat and you'll see why TJ is a good refined artistic ability.
ahahaha even funnier response^^^^ Manet did just what Basquiat did, just at a different time, what s the difference between expressionism and urban art, nothing really , they both reflect the time at hand, my real reference was not to compare these two artists but really to laugh at people who try to link ski graphics to hi art ,urban art or anything, graphics are just that graphics, ask yourself do these companies want to make some social statement or do they want to create an appealing look to a broad spectrum of buyers, for what? to sell fucking skis.
yea i guess your right I can expect to see some Rossi's in the Louvre. I guess if you consider ski graphics art you feel the same way about a Coke commercial.
^actually I was correcting your statement Warhol did not do graphic art he did 'pop art', from what i can tell ol 'Andy did not have a nice Mac Book Pro, and by the way Warhol did not even do all his work, so for you to mention that guy was inaccurate, can you name a top graphic artist , you cant, there are not any,(they are not taken serious in real art circles) graphic art in skiing is simple, it is created to sell product, to draw people into a certain brand look price, etc, I was going to let this die, but since you pulled the 'you proved my point bullshit' anyone who wants to spit about art Warhol etc. better get the terminology correct or you just make a fool out of yourself.
