Separated shoulder

i separated my shoulder over rotating and over shooting during a frontflip and im wondering if anyone has had one, and how long it takes for it to heal

separated as in dislocated or you damaged the ligaments? in did mine last year, took 6 months before i cld ski properly again, that included having plate put in and taken out again.

no clue???  maybe four weeks if its bad.  and you should deffinatly not do anthing like skiing alittle after because it would be really easy to seperate it again.

have one now...i got it like in mid january.. you can like ski in a week or 2, but i you fall, it just gets all whack again

seperated and dislocated are two different things. i seperated mine two years ago. it is a 3 or 5 depending who you ask. i was riding in less than a week. i was told i couldn't make it any worse by falling on it, but it would hurt real bad. you prob don't need surgery unless its ur throwing arm and you need it for sports or some shit. otherwise physical therapy will get it back to %100. and the bump don't go away without surgery.

i did mine in december but it was only about a grade 1.  i was sliding rails in like a week just playing then full jumping in probably 2-3.  it still hurt A LOT to fall but you will get better.

A month ago  I

*  Dislocated
* Grade II Reverse AC Seperation
*bone fracture

IT's been a month and i've been doing hella rehab and don't have full motion and can barley lift a jug of juice. It takes almost a year for full recovery for me . Depends on how bad the seperation was.

completely depends what grade you've done

happily ive done grade 1 and grade 3 (the worst). Grade 1 takes 2-3 weeks to be fine but personal pain threshold has to be taken into account.
Grade 3 can take a long time. i couldn't ski park properly for about 8 weeks but took it easy after about 5-6 weeks.

ya i think mine is like 1 or 2, but my pain threshold is pretty high but i dont really know what that has to do with anything. but a ive been icing as much as i can
