I was at revelstoke over the weekend and tried out the prior doughboys in 175 length. I LOVED the ski but I'm reluctant to pay $900 for them. I'm wondering if anyone has tried a ski that is similar to the doughboys and can personally attest to them performing well.
bit of background, i'm 5'8'', 135 pounds and an aggressive skier. I'm looking for a big mountain powder ski, preferably around 105 at the waist. These are going to be my 15cm+ skis, so if you can give me some suggestions of skis you really liked, especially if you know them to be similar to the doughboys i'd very much appreciate it. on the other hand, i very well might just suck it up and drop the $900 if it seems like it'll be worth it.
