haven't heard much about this years, what do people who ride them think?

I have this years 183's and I love them. Super poppy and buttery but are stable enough for jumps. The top sheets are pretty decent but still chip as any ski will. I wouldn't say the lightest. I ride mine with 8-16 deabolts and their not super heavy and they have a decently low swing weight..

what does the stiffness compare to? i usually prefer stiffer, my last pair was this years chronics, but they snapped, and tramdock's giving me the option of exchanging for store credit.

They aren't stiff but aren't like invader soft. I think their the perfect mix of stable and playful. They nollie super good. I think remember talking to Matt Sterbenz saying that this years STL's are the softest 4frnt's this year. I really like softer skis so maybe thats why I like them so much. If you looking for a playful yet stable ski I think this would be a good choice.

are the tails stiffer than the noses? or just soft all around?

Well the noses are stiffer then the tails. If you want a stiffer ski I probably wouldn't get this.

i decided to go with TNKs as i had a discount code that still worked i forgot about. and tramdock is the tits for the record, since it was a return exchange for defective skis (my snapped chronics) they gave me free next day shipping.
