You are hurting the industry. When snowboarders see skiers like Fred and Randall doing stupid flailing 360 attempts 8 inches off the ground, they laugh there heads off, and skiing takes another blow. I guess it's kinda cool all these new companies are coming out w/their skis. It's just annoying when kids start jumpin on the bandwagon saying how sweet they are even though they have barely been on the market. I don't think I'd ever buy a companies first year production of skis 'cause you never know what you're getting.

I think they look cool and all, but I wouldn't get a pair unless I tested them out first. I'm not much of a 'trend whore', I think 4ftnt, and Armada are good for the market. If there is more competition it makes companies make better productions. the ones that don't, get filtered out. so I think it's cool that independent companies are making skis, it makes the major companies make better skis.

most likely rider owned, they have much more imput on the construction of the ski, and how it feels best from the perspective of someone that uses them. On the flipped side like someone said /\ up there /\ somewhere the rider owned companys may push the bigger companys for either more imput on the skis from thier riders, or to get off thier asses and research something. Now im not sayin that big companys dont make good skis (I own a pair of rossis) im just saying that the rider companys like 4frnt (which i really dont know that much about) and Armanda ( same thing) have more potential. enough said

By the looks of things Faction has been around longer than 4frnt and have a global arsenal of ski pros - so straight off the bat i'm going to have to say yay for Faction!!

I think you're pretty fuckin' pathetic if you choose what you ride based on the graphic. No offense to any of these new companies, but chances are your product won't be as good as Salomon or Rossi simply due to monetary reasons. In any case, it's cool to see a new type of skiing culture grow these days, where we can have companies all to ourselves who are actually interested in pushing the things we represent. Let's keep in mind that, chances are, whether you are skiing salomon, rossi, armada or 4front, they were probably all made in the same factory in mainlaind China!!!!!!

i just have a quick thing to say about anarchy symbols... will im not a hadcore promoter of anarchism and don;t wear these things around and stuff, i think some people have a misconseption of what anarchism really is. theres this kid at my school, he is so pissed of, because they stole his idea. he had been chatting with this guy, and the guy was into skiing and stuff, talking about starting a company, well this kid, made a shity geocities site that was like FAction Skis and was like ya, i have a company, and it was super gay, he made ms paint graphics for skis, and had a whole team, i was on it, cuz im so amazing, and he wants me, but hes all like, thats bullshit, that guy stole my idea. i laugh
