Well this summer I'm gonna build a drop in so i can work on my rails, but I'm also gonna make it semi portable for urbans. How long of a drop in ramp do you need to get decent speed? I'm planning on building a 5 foot tall drop in with a 2 foot wide deck and ramp. I'm planning on making the ramp about 8 feet long, is this enough speed for a rail about 1 foot high?
I'm also wondering about the deck too. I'm planning on making it 2'x2' but may go for 2x1 for cheapness and portability. Any thoughts or recconmendations?
