Scratch Boots vs. Ignition Boots

OK heres the deal, I bought a brand new pair of last year's Rossi Scratch boots at the beginning of the season, but I tore my ACL playing football and never used them. Since then, I got a job in a shop that sells Nordica Ignitions. After trying on the Ignitions I really regret buying the Scratch boots because they are so much more comfortable and nicer. But the reason I bought the Scratches is because I wear a size 14 shoe and need like a 30.5 or 31 and at the time it was the only one I could find in a big size. My scratches are a 31 and feel a little big. I tried on the pair of Ignitions in a 30 that my shop has and they're a lil small. And I know all about pack-out and everything, but I think 30.5 will be perfect. So I was thinking of possibly trying to sell the Scratches on here or on e-bay and buying next years Ignitions in a 30.5 (I think they look a lot better than this years). Do you guys think it is worth it? Would anyone be interested in buying my Scratches?

yea I just wasn't sure if there was many other skiers my size. I'm 6'3'' 225 pounds and size 14. I'm just hoping there will be someone out there that is looking for a huge boot like this . haha

What do you guys think is the better boot? Becuase now I am thinking that if I actually do like the scratches I mite keep them. But which is better for park?

They are both great boots, and they are both fine for park.
The better boot is the one that is a better fit to your foot-type

both are good boots. the better boot is the boot that fits better.
I used to ride rossi boots but switched once the white series came out. I found the back stiff and in the shop i could feel calf bang just flexin. I've heard this is a problem for a fair amount of kids. But if the boot fits I can't see this being a problem.
But really listen to what people say and in the end consider it but pick the boot that fits better

The Nordicas are a higher quality boot, the scratches are meant to be a cheap entry level park boot.

I don't know if that really is true or not, but it deffinitely feels like it. The Nordicas feel like so much better quality than my scratches. Its just the little details all over the boot that make it much nicer. The scratches feel kind of shitty. I mean, I haven't even skied on them yet and the Rossignol and Scratch graphics are already coming off. Plus, they might be too big.

30.0 and 30.5 are the same size boot, waiting to get next years in a 30.5 wont make any difference. Unless the look matters that much to you, buy this years, save some money, and have a good bootfitter grind out some of the material up front/in the back/stretch whatever needs to be done to get it to fit right.
Going up to the next shell size is only gonna give u some nice toe bang when it packs out

I'm waiting for next year because I hate this year's clear green shell. Plus, I work in a shop that sells them so I can get it cheaper anyway.
