04 Salomon 1080 Boots

sssssooo sooo sick and comfortable, neon green, once again soo sick and comfortable, seriously to everyone thinking about getting these boots get them... i will post another response soon after i ride on them but as of now i seriously dont even think they are boots they are as comfortable as shoes, im hopeing for zero shinbang this year because of these, do what i did and tell your mom you want them as an early christmas present other that your on your own like me for all your other ski gear needs

I was thinking of getting them too... ugly as hell, but theyre stiffer this year... and are more comfortable

^are you mental? the only thing that's change are the colors and graphics, same shell, same flex index same liner, nothing but color has changed

how can u say they are so great if u have never skied with them yet,.... I used the 2002 model and they were pretty good but a little to soft for me toward the end

^ya i've modified mine a bit, i took out those plus under the canting and put in the rivots on a pro model so now they have a flex of 95 rather than 85, and then i've moved the buckles around and flared the cuff, super comfy now

According to the old Salomon website, the 1080 boots were 75 flex last year, and are now 85 flex. Plus, they now say 'sweetass' on the heels, so they must be 'sweetass'.

Well no shit genius, didn't I say that this years were 85? What I *DID* say though, is that according to last years Salomon website, the 1080 boots were 75 flex, that's all...

this year boots are the exact same except the green is not neon. its a see thru (transparent or translucent I forget) green. not neon that is the 03 boot. and the back of the boot was change a bit to help make sure the power strap stays perfectly in place

yeah i guess they arent neon green more of just a regular green, anyways i cant wait to get out on them try to get them at a shop if you can because they usually have little deals if you get them at a shop rather than getboards.com, if you buy them at plaines in massachusetts, www.plaines.com(u can order them off that site) you get a free mounting of your bindings and tune up and next year if you grow out of the boots you get half your money back towards another pair of boots, im not sure if this is for online orders though... also i didnt see 'sweetass' on the boots... i should prolly go take a look
