Dakines new ski specific pack

does anyone know if it has vert ski carry or just diag? im gettin sick of diag especially since my skis barely fit in the loops

it looks like it still has the cable but you might be able to use the straps on the side for a frame carry.

thats what i thought, but it seemed wierd because dakines m-o is diagonal. that would be sweet if it is a frame. i need to warantee my ridge pack, which is no longer made, maybe ill get this one. either way. a cable that is adjustable is pretty sweet and hopefully very durable

dakine has made some dumb decisions recently (went from Vertex to Ridge):

the zip hip pouch used to zip forward and you could see if it was closed.  now it zips to the back and i can never tell if its open.

and the in-line holder for the shovel handle / probe used to have a velcro strap.  but now its just a fixed diameter loop and my shovel handle always flops around.
