Vote swaying getting out of hand?

I looked throughout site discussion but couldn't find anything on the subject. Is anyone noticing more and more "vote for my friend" threads in NSG? I can see if you've been a member for a long time and you or your friend/sibling/relative need to win the contest really bad and you turn to NS for help. But I'm seeing just more random threads asking NS to sway a vote. People who ahve barely been on this site for a month and they want NS to get their friend some money that he doesn't need. Am I just talking out of my ass and no one else sees a problem with this?

^Same. I used to do it all the time (even if it required a survey or something) but recently there's been to many retarded ones. Some of them require sign ups and shit too, uhhh no thanks.

Its a problem that will solve itself. Tons of people will ask about it, it'll get annoying, people will stop helping, it'll go away.

I don't want it to go away. In some respects it is awesome that we can help a fellow newschooler out on something. Like when samcaylor asked us to vote for his teeth getting fixed. I don't know if he ever won but I sure voted as many times as I could and I'm sure get got way more votes than he would have if he didn't come to NS,

I help if its a member thats legit on here. Most times they are people I have no idea who they are and i skip over.

If it gets really outta hand i'm just going to start deleting them.

The best was the girl asking to vote for her friend to be a model and everyone just ripped on her for being ugly and how the other contestants were hotter. So funny.
