k im totally stumped on this problem it may be easy but i dont get it


soo...


For each of the straight lines in the graph write a linear equation whose graph is that straight line


the graph shows a straigt line with an y intersect as 3 and an x intersect of 3


please help

but that means the slope is 3/3 which is 1. So the equation is y=x+3 because the y intercept is 3.

unless the slope is negative then its y=-x+3

but the slope is negative one. if you do (y1-y2)/(x1-x2) that gives you slope. sooooo, 3 - 0 over 0 - 3, so slope is negative 1. y int = (0,3), so equation is:

y=-x+3

hah usually all the homework questions on here are ridiculously complicated. this one I think you could find by looking in your text book, thats how I learned all my math, since my teachers didn't do shit

ns helps but our math program was voted worst in west coast i think and my math teacher can barly speak english and on top of it all i have 2 differnt maths book so im confused alot of the times
