subaru's are good for traveling/gas milage, etc but they are known to break down a lot. . . my mom used to have one and my friend used to have one and they both broke down a lot. Like our radiator broke twice and one or two other things happend but it was a good car overall
screw the outback. get a Legacy gt-B, gt30B, or 250tB. Seriously, in comparison to those cars, the outback handles like a bus. Dad and I tried one out a few years ago when deciding what type of subaru to get and ,while it was good, it was not as good as the Legacy. Legacy's are far better for speed, handling, acceleration and fuel mainly because of their size and height. Unless your mtn has a really bad road with high clearance needed, or you like taking off road a lot then get a Legacy.
