hi, so i did a dumb thing whilst cleaning old files out of my mac other day and deleted my music folder. 6000 tracks gone. so i tried to use senuti to upload from new ipod and when i applied enable disk it synced and i lost music on ipod. i have my old ipod with all my tracks too, any tips on how i can upload them successfully using senuti? had done once before without problems when i first got my macbook pro. thanks.
You'll plug in your ipod wait for it to pop up and say it's connected. open senuti and tell it to select all songs on your ipod. Then click transfer in the top left corner of the program, and then wait for a really long time wile it transfers all the music. It should be that simple.
iTunes warns you that its going to sync the iPod and you have to click yes for it to delete everything. At least it always warned me. I don't understand how this happens to so many people. You should just be able to plug it in and tell iTunes not to sync. Go into the iTunes preferences and turn off auto syncing first just in case.
the problem was that senuti could not see my ipod because the disk was not enabled i think, i unchecked sync music in the controls but i think this may have been the cause because my hunting yeti episode was retained on the ipod even though it was deleted by mac. computer shop here in revvy said they can get it all back so i'll just take it there. thanks for all your help guys, enjoy your turns.
