I am in love with my scratch bc's but want something bigger underfoot. I am 6' 180lbs and generally ski off groom in tahoe (mostly alpine). Love to drop small-medium cliffs, straitline, and hike for fresh tracks.
I have been looking at the bacons, prophet 100s, seths, coombas, b4s, blowers, gotomas, katanas, vcts, thugs... basically skis from 100-120 in the waist and around 180-185 long. I usually steal my dads pontoons on pow days so i would prob not get a rockered ski. but mini rocker/early rise sounds cool. Any ideas?
I didnt even think about getting the steeze because of the homo hearts and rainbows on the ski (graphics matter when there horrible) but the other day i saw sick special edition black ones at granite chief in squaw. They only had the 174 and i would get the 186 i think. Anyone know of where I can find these online?
or if anyone has the green bacons fs?

for tahoe i'd go with the prophet 100. all of the skis you listed are good for fucking around in the pow but if you want a ski that straightlines, drops cliffs, and busts crud this is the ski. i found that my prophets were the perfect tahoe ski for an ordinary day where it was mostly tracked up powder because they float well and are fat enough to cut the heavy snow but aren't so fat they flap. if you have pontoons for deep days i'd go prophet 100 for all other days

flex pattern is different, tele's and alpine skis may come from the same press even, but the flex pattern of a tele skis is much different than that off an alpine ski, i believe it's almost completely backwards to a typical alpine ski

i know that tele flex is generally different but ive heard that in the case of the steeze/raven theyre identical. could be wrong tho.

Steezes and Ravens are identical. Get them. My buddy has Steezes are they probably one of the best all-around skis out there. Out of Legend Pros, Thugs, ARGs, Seth Viciouses, Seth Pistols, Atuas, ANTs, JP vs Juliens, Hellbents, and Maden's (skis I've had in the past 2 years) if I could have only one, it would hands down be the Steeze/Raven.

bacons or prophets both are light and soft but still shred. just watch the vids about them and people take both them of 50 footers and stuff wil do anything you want

prophets arent all that soft. not compared to some of the other skis he was talking about.
and prophet 100s would be solid, would def be better for those tracked out, cruddy days.
