Dalbello VS. Lange

how do both boots fit you?

(Assuming both boots fit you  similar)

Both fit me good, like how the krypton synches down the heal, and if i put a new foot bed in the langes than the heal stays solid also, do backcountry, not a alot of park but a bit of swich on the grooms to keep me entertained, do the cliff/booter thing too. allmtn.

I have ridden both the Dalbello Krypton Rampages and the Lange CRL FR 80s.  I like the strap construction of the Kryptons.  It becomes even more useful when your liners pack out.  I prefer the liner from the Langes, though.  Assuming they still use the same liner as in the FRs, it has a great tongue that feels spectacular.  It's almost like a memory foam.  My advice would be to look at the Dalbello Il Moros.  They come standard with an Intuition liner, which feels very similar to the Lange liner.  I plan to replace my Dalbello liner next year with the Intuition.

I have never ridden those langes but I ride Kryptons and absolutely love them.  If you are riding backcountry I would lean towards krypton pros over the il moros. Yes the il moro cuff has a smoother flex which I love in the park, but they are SOFT.  The stiffer shell and tongue from the pros will charge better all mt and be just as much fun to dick around with on groomers..  Both boots are available with id liners so that isn't an issue

both boots have different flex ratings.

the freeride 110s are awesome because because they are very easy for a bootfitter to adjust as they are a single piece plastic shell. i have the freeride 120s and they're dope!

i've got the krypton rampages too and i found them very awkward to work on but i do like the tongue closure. what i didn't like is the shape of the shell. it is very straight and does not seem to match the natural curve of the foot while lange does.
