Replying to Spinning while on boxes
My question isn't about spinning on, like a 270, it's about spinning while sliding on/over boxes. Anyways, I've had some trouble with it, andwas wondering if camber had anything to do with it? If you think about it, your tips and tails hanging off the edges of the box are lower than the part of your ski that's actually on the box, due to the way camber naturally flexes the ski. So when the ski spins, the lower tail and tips seem to have trouble getting on and over the box as I spin, so I always slow down a bunch or even stall out spinning every 180 degrees. I seem to notice it more with my new Anthems that have a lot of camber, while my friend, who's PE's have literally 0 camber, don't seem to get stuck. Obviously skill is a factor, but could camber actually be part of my problem, or is there any tips for spinning? Sorry if it's a dumb question, as you can tell I don't know a ton about ski technology.
