no but i can land way better switch. its funny, when i go to the park i start with 1's then 5's then 9's b/c its so easier to land switch. if i cork or anything like that though i can land forward just as easily as switch
yeah it's way easier to spin switch, I find cause my upper body and head already are twisted around, so a awitch 3 is pretty much as much effort as a regular 1-pretty much as soon as your skis leave the jump they start to spin cause the rest of you is already facing the other way.
im the same way, when i learned 5's it took me a long to grow the ball to try them on even little park jumps (like 20 ft) and when i learned switch 5's i just hucked em straight up on a 20 ft park jump, so im way more confident in switch spins, not sure why i just like em more, there way harder to grab with i find tho
i find switch spins really easy and i think its jsut because ur body naturaly wants to turn because u want to land normal.. making a 0 spin hard cuz u go off switch and land switch which ur body doesnt want to do in one way...
i agree that its easier to spin switch but i did all my forward spins before i did them switch cause i didnt have twin tips and didnt want to eat shit.
i hate spinning switch it is wierd because i always want to pop and unwind my spins way to early and i always catch an edge or go inverted or something
