Junior Nationals recap

The Nova Scotia team hit the junior nationals in Le Relais Quebec last weekend competing in moguls, dual moguls and big air. 

The team did there best in the mogul comps but due to the tight moguls, faulty equipment and tough competition nobody managed to lay down a clean run.

In the big air Stef Strecko took 6th place with a smooth stomped switch 9 and almost a switch 10 (so close).  Charles Stevens came out in the middle of the pack with a couple smooth 7's with the attempt of an octograb. Nick Stevens volunteered as my last minute replacement and  threw down some nice 7's as well.

Amy Chandler the first girl freeskier out of nova scotia competed as well throwing some big spread eagles and getting her fist taste of some big competitions.
