but ive mad a descision to descend to the darkside...aka snowboarding....i did it for 4 years and miss how much fun it was....jibbin was crzy fun, and since that is my fav. thing...i decided to start again...ill always respect skiing and how sick it is, and if ya see me on the slopes, dont spray me...well im out..peace...

whatever is fun to you do it, snowboarding looks crazy fun but i have never tried.

its called "freeskiing"  for a reason, you are free to leave.... haha otherwise it would probalbly be called "slave skiing"?

I agree with everyone else. It doesn't matter if you get down the mountain on two pieces of wood or one, as long as you are having fun doing it, it doesn't matter.

Yeah slave skiing=racing. I'm kidding...well kinda. I used to race and when we were not racing we called it freeskiing. Not that funny but kinda. Anyway, have fun snowboarding. Its all sliding, you don't need to leave NS. From what I've read there are a lot of single plankers on this site.

yeah man I made the decision to switch next year too, my local mountain is too shitty to be fun on skis anymore, and I have been skiing pretty much since I could walk so I want to change it up.  snowboarding was fun the 2 times I've done it.

I'll still prob ski on trips to canada, CO, etc

I switched back to snowboarding this year too. I still bring my skis to bigger parks and mountains though. I like it, especially on a shitty mountain like mine; I find you can do more with less. And snowboard jibbing is nasty. Anyways just have fun and get into the snowboard cult.
