Yo basically I want to film a documentary based on a trip I plan on taking with some buds sailing around South America, The Carribean, Antartica, and Central America. I was wondering what camera to get. What really caught my eye were the little HD handcameras since they're small, attract less attention, and therefore will have a less likely risk of it getting jacked/me getting mugged and shit in the bustling cities such as Bogota. I was just wondering if these cameras do a good job of providing stable, high quality shots worthy of a documentary or should I invest in one of those bigger ones which seem like they would provide a more stable, proffesional, and higher quality shot?
