i have just turned 14 i have freestyle skid for a season i can throw 3's with grabs, 5's and some rail. i am just wondering if this is any good for some one my age.

Age has become less and less relevent. There's alot of young great skiers out there, kids who are 14 throwing cork-9's and whatever.

It sounds like you are doing pretty good, keep stepping it up.

But it's not so much WHAT you can do, but HOW you can do. Do you have style? that is the question. How much air? Have you taken these to places beside the park?

those are just a few questions you could ask yourself.

Being able to do a 360 over a 15 foot table and being able to do it over a 90 foot table are two different things.

You don't even need to worry about it though.
Ski for yourself out there, push yourself each day, and progression will come naturally. Who cares what other people are doing that are your age. Different people progress at different speeds.

Just ski for yourself.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

if you can travel to a big resort like hood or black comb youll see how good you are, id say its avg for your age, but if you have those down and dialed after one year thats pretty good id say

Stop comparing yourself to others. 1st of all, who cares. second, it will be a lot more fun if you just ski for yourself. Also, tricks don't mean anything if they don't look good. Keep progressing and just go with it. If there's a kid at your mountain this year throwing down, ask for some tips, other than that, just chill and have fun, from the looks of it, you are ahead of the game.

When I'm out skiing I ask other skiers how good at posting in the ns forum I am. They say not to worry about it and to just have fun posting and it'll all work out. It helps alot...

im 15 and i can do 7 grabs over big tables (at least as big as i can find.) i dont really care how good i am, just havn fun, cuz thats wat its all about. and like someone said bbefore, a 3 over a 15 footer is different from one over a 50 footer. ill give u a hint, one is more than 3 times as fun.

u shouldnt be worryin about how good you are compared to others man, just go and ski, i mean your doin good for your age definately but your not a prodigy or anythin my little bro is 11 and he throws down the same stuff plus more, but anyways just keeo skiin and dont worry about stuff like that

it's not what tricks you can throw, it's how many blunts you can smoke on the chair on the way up. that's the only way to see how good you are for your age.

i duno im 14 and i throw pretty nice 7's with grabs,(someone from PN tell me if im lying or not.. because i really have no clue), 9 safetys, misty 5's, still learning corks and stuff, can spin both ways with some things.... i duno, i really forget what all i can do..its nothing great.

im 14 and i can pull 720 grabs and stick shit onto rails, and i suck compared to tons of kids i know who are younger than me. Who cares how good you are for your age, because tons of people suck for years then learn everything in one season.

Im 14 ane i can do cab 5 grabs, cork 3's, cork 7 grabs, cork 9's, ive stomped two cork 1080's before. all of these tricks i was doin over a 50ft table. Yeh you need to have style these days, thats whats gonna get you places

age dosent matter, and also its all reltive on how good you are. compared to alot of people its ok i have been skiing 1/2 a year and i can rodeo and corked but there are people that can do even better.

there are plenty of kids who can 3 and 5 and cork 7 and 10 and do all this shit, but the only people that will go somewhere are the people who have the drive and will accept the consequences for their choices, if you want to become a professional skier, you have to realize your not gonna be living well for a while

i think you do pretty well but ghost is right age doesnt matter anymore. just do it and do it for fun and youll love that shit man. skiing is all about fun and progress i think. just try out some stuff you like but just do things youre sure you can do cuz otherwise it could hurt
