I just joined NS this past year, well liek in October ish. I was just wondering what is it like in the summer does the site change and less people on. And what is there to talk about? Thanks.

a lot less people are on in the summer. it is still cool, NSG usually takes over and people talk about a lot of stupid shit. a lot of trampoline stuff comes up, longboarding, skating and everything else there is to do in the summer. i usually find a post way more in the summer. and it is slower in the summer as well. it's still pretty chill though.

There's often less ski talk and more flame throwing as all the pow junkies go through withdrawal.  It's ok, we understand.  Some people won't handle summer that well. ;)

Just wait until August. That's like the month of flaming. Everyone is so sick of heat and no snow that anything will set them off. Gets pretty intense/amusing.

ski gabber runs thin but NSG gets filled up. alot of posting it seems, most of it useless. good time to look for deals and sales around late spring if youre looking for used gear

the no poles vs. poles thread count goes up by 300% and there are a lot of sick edits and summer camp shots.

and by may you get the kids talking about how they're going to ski camp, and everyone normally hates on  them for a little then June/ early July guaranteed someone makes a "post your next years setup thread". then by august you get the people starting to go through withdrawal and complaining, it gets to be fun
