No poles, short poles, or normal poles

what do you like? i want to see what everyone likes. I like the short poles and sometimes i just do no poles. How do poles help you and not help? lets see some disscussion here

Tip to everyone who likes their poles, dont play chicken on chair lift with friends ever again!
I played yesterday and my poles got stuck under the safety barr and i couldnt get them up and then they dragged and snapped in half, and since i dont want to risk another pair this year im no poles for rest of year  unless i ... find a pair.

i personally use 4 poles, 2 in each hand. that way i figure if i ever drop one i wont have to turn around to pick it up i can jsut keep skiing

Put your hands in your boots and ski doing a hand stand. It is way steezier to shred around inverted all day. You can put a second pair of skis on your feet too so when you fall you can keep skiing.
