At $140 for the axium 120' s and $200 for the z12's, are the solly's that much better? Any comments would be sweet, by the way i'm 6'1'' 170lbs mounting some invaders (my first real pair of park skis) and ride 50/50 park/all mtn.

Axial1/2 > Axium.
The latter blow. If you are gonna get some rossi's go with the axial2's or anything in that family. And if you are gonna go Solly, get a more durably clamp than the z12. With your height/weight, you will ass rape those.

I am pretty sure it is metal vs. composite material that is the difference between the 2. I think that it is worth it, but others dont.

I have z12 and theyv held up alright and i like how light they are, but at the same time i dont think itd be that hard for me to destroy them, and i would never pay 200 for them
