can anyone tell me how to focus on one object in the foreground and then adjust the focus to an object in the background? preferrably with a panasonic camera

It is hard to make it look professional. You move the switch to manual (focus)....i hope you always are using manually settings anyways...........then move in the menus to MF......hold the joustick left or right to focus......

besides, we can't really help you unless you give us the model; not all cameras work the same way.

I have a gs320 too. It's a great camera to learn filming with. No problem.
