Gaper quotes for today from Glen Eden
Gaper: Hey are those dual tips?
Me: Yes, but theyre called twin tips
Gaper: Is that so you can ski in reverse?
Me: I think you mean backwards, or switch
Gaper: Yeah reverse
heard this today from the chair.
*girls falls*
yells to friend "The wind blew me over!"
" i had to wait 3 hours in the ER and my wrist hurt really bad"
-kid in worst ski day ever thread
I take a jump and while im in the air a ski patroll decides to go do his slalom in the middle of the landing (he was on flat not moving when I took off). I land right next to him and we both bail then he's like :
''oh shit I didn't saw you you ok?''
''Yeah im fine but wtf are you doing dude?!''
''I'm sorry I didn't saw you''
''You didn't saw me?? you just went in te middle of a landing and you didn't chek before??''
''Yeah but I saw a kid without his helmet in the park when I was in the chair and I'm trying to catch him up''
I teach skiing.
Me: You need to bend your knees when you ski.
Girl: I can't
Me: Why not??
Girl: It is cold so I decided to wear three pairs of skinny jeans.
i went to play it again to get some boots and the guy asked me my size and i replied "about 28 or 29" he then says "no thats impossible its like your either right or left handed" he then proceeds to measure my foot then says "it looks like your about a 28.5 but you could wear either a 28 or a 29"
conclusion: play it again gets all the job applications that were rejected from the near by rei store.

i was at stevens a few weekends ago waiting at the base in the lift line. a family of four asians approached wearing skinny jeans north face rain shells and reading glasses while carrying their snowboards through the line passing everybody. a lifty stopped them and had to insist multiple times that you have to strap your foot in before you get on the chair. after about a minute talking to the lifty they left the line to most likely return their boards to the rental shop and drive home in their prius.
^not really a quote but im sure if i talked to them they would have some stories^
Yeah some people just consider it a skate-style rail setup when there isnt a lip. Most people think of urban rails being in an urban environment. I wouldnt call any feature on a mountain an urban rail.
Both people were right, in a way, but the poster was the mega-douche
