I saw this girl with a pretty cool jacket and there was written "spirit of skiing" on the back. I was thinking about how cool the jacket was when I noticed she was a snowboarder. fail?

Asessippi has two parks: Central Park and Robin's Run. Robins Run is all rail, hence that term. So it's not gaper.

This kid keeps telling me and my friend that skiing is gay and that snowboarding is obviosly cooler and that skiing is so much easier. It is a bit easier to pick up on but its hard to be good.

So we go and take a picture of 3 groups of girls snowboarding and a picture of the one girl ive ever seen clear a jump.

Me and my friend were skiing the park (wearing kind of gangster gear but not gaper nonetheless) and on the lift we saw our other friend (gaper) and this was the conversation. I shit you not.

Gaper: Why do You guys dress like gapers?

Us:...we dont lol you are the defenition of gaper.

I got my very first Gaper quote yesterday!!!

Sitting in the lift on the way up and there was this English family there, they obviously thought i couldn't understand them....

Dad: Look at that kids pants, they're very in your face. He shouldn't be allowed to wear stuff like that!

Son: He's obviously one of the jump skiers dad!

Mom: Oh, do you have to wear that kind of thing to do the backwards somersaults?

Right when she said that i started pissing myself laughing.... think the figured out i could speak english. Awkward ride the rest of the way up...

landed my first backflip yesterday and tell my mom and this is how it goes:

I took the ferry to my parents today, and I needed to fix my boot buckle before I ski tomorrow, so I walked on the ferry carrying my boots today.

some old lady came up to me and said,

"where'd you go skiing this time of year?"
"the mountains"
"there's still snow?!?!"
"yeah"
"I bet it was better than the OLYMPICS"

I really didn't get what she was talking about, I was so confused....

Favorite gaper quote. One time my frien went off a jump on the side of the trail and this kid on the lift was watching and shouted do a twister or something!! Silly gapers. Oh and one time I was explaining to my mom what a Joey is and she was all like "wait who's Joey"

well this guy wast realy a gaper but i couldnt find any were else sutable for this,

so me and my friends ride up with these 2 older guys and we see this kid sliding down this hill with his ski racing down the hill,

the guy was like" man to bad the kids brakes didnt work"

and the other guy said "must be tyota(how do u spell i forgot lol sorry)"

and for some reason i though ti was the funnest thing in the world .

lapping the PC pipe today, and i see these three kids hiking up the pipe (all the way to the top). While they're hiking i get 2 runs in, and they ask me when they get to the top, "why would you take the lift? hiking is so much faster!"

so i was at liberty today and i was chilling about to hit this rail with my bud and we were talking to this other skier with some dynastar twin tips, and this guy with rentals comes up to us asking "hey are you going to do your backflip?" and we thought he was talking to the other guy but then it turned out he was talking to my friend, and so we joked around saying, oh no man hes going to do a dub cork 14. and the both the guy with rentals and the guy with the dynastars had no clue what we were talking about, so we tried explaining to the guy with twins that it was what jossi did, and he didnt know who jossi was at all. that was a good story

Ever since I broke my shoulder blade (I accidentally skied into a tree switch. Yes I know how to look behind me, the tree just caught me on my blind side), people can't fathom why I was skiing backwards. They're either shocked, think I'm a dumbass, say I should've snowboarded (only the douchy snowboarders say this not the chill ones I ski with), or in one case, they laugh at me.

all in all, it's annoying.
