not necessarily gaper, but i was at jiminy peak one night and these two dudes working the lift thought the length of my poles was hilarious. "whatd you pay, half price for those?" "did you break your poles?" not much variety beyond that. it got old quick

This is reasonable. I don't like skiing with goggles at all. If I can I'll be skiing in sunglasses, pretty much only use goggles on days where it's snowing.

A buddy told me he saw this... not sure if its true but funny anyway.

he said he was gearing down at the end of the day at his car when a whole group of Asians walked by. he didn't pay any attention until he noticed about 100 feet behind them a lone oriental man walking in the same direction carrying about ten waffles from the waffle house in the base lodge in one hand and spilling a whole bunch of hot chocolates that were being held between the arm with the waffles and his body. with the other hand he was pulling two sleds tied together loaded with what he said looked like all of the ski gear of the group that had just walked by.

i laughed so hard when he told me this. looks like even the gapers have someone to tool on.

so i was at this gymnastic place (dont worry i go to use the tramp, get all my flips down)
and there si this one fucking annoying girl there, she keeps talking to about skiing,

she will not shut up

(im thinking "bitch i dont care you are a gapper and ugly")

then she says :
her "i was skiing and i hit this thick snow the hill had just put there, i just stopped me and i fell"
                                                 ^it had just snowed about two feet

me "the snow cam from teh sky"

her "no, i know what im talking about"

I was riding the lift at mount snow yesterday with some gaper family (of course they were riding on the carinthia face instead of the main mountain) I'm riding on my moment skis and the dad goes to me:

"Those are some pretty cool skis. Did you cut the tips of yourself or did they come like that"

later on he goes

"The paint job is pretty cool too"

alright so i was coming up switch to a rail and this little 9 or 10 year old 4 foot tall snowboarder came out of no where and cut me off and went off the side of the jump to get on the rail. i had to slow down way hard and made it like half way cause i had no speed. He proceeds to say

Gaper "WOW THAT GUYS SUCKS!!!! HE CUT ME OFF AND CANT EVEN DO THE WHOLE RAIL!!!!!!

I was pretty angry but the kid was like 9 so i didnt wanna yell at him

saw a gaper at my mountain today.  so there was this medium size jump no bigger then 20 ft and it was a gap too.  he comes up about 5 feet short and his legs just like collapse.  skis go flying and since we ejected he slid down the hill in his boots to gather his stuff.  he gets one of his skis and the other ski is maybe 10 feet away from him.  he is sliding down the hill in his boots and hits a little pile of snow and falls again.   finally i just threw his ski up to him.

this kid at my school was tryign to show off about his skiing abilities and saying that he could do backflips and everything..... after talking a little he decided to start bragging about how he was getting new skis:  

me: "oh so what kind are you getting?"   

him "umm some of the new shaped ones"

me: "ummm wait what?"

him: "ya know the ones with the two ends that go up"

there were these oriental guys in the lift line behind me. They were wearing jeans and instead of putting their lift ticket on one of the wire wickets, they put them on their jackets like a name tag. They had no idea what the lift guy was talking about when he said "go get a wire for your pass".
