its not really a quote but ya i was walking to the bus at my mountain and i could here this guy talking to his friend about my skis (limited ed. troublemakers) and they were wondering how i took those old racing skis and bent the tips up... i felt like wacking him in the head w/ a pole just cuz he was stupid enough to even ask that and he didnt think that i could hear him from 10 feet away...

Agreed, northface is a valid outerwear company. I'm pretty sure they sponsor Ingrid Backstrom. Now if she said some kind of Walmart brand, then it'd be better.

my friend got told that the reason the tails of his skis were turned up was to keep the skis from flying away when he was going really fast. Like a race car spoiler.

Also it makes it easier to ram your skis into the guy in front of you in the lift line that has the twins.  so fucking annoying
