What up. I'm an East Coast skiier. I'm definately lookin at getting some fat skis for next season. We never get a huge amount of powder at all but I've rode my friends Seths and Bacons at our mountain when we've had a little and they're so much more fun than my Foils.
I'm gonna be making a few trips out West next year and a few to Killy and Okemo as well as skiing the local. But what would be more ideal? I'll definately be using them way more for All Mountain and Big Mountain when I go out West. And groomer performance is a factor too because theres plenty of that too.
The reason I consider EP is beause trying to ski switch in pow on my friends Seths the tails tend to go under alot and get caught up. So I was thinking a little rocker would help me out going switch but also allowing me to have to work a little less harder going regular and would definately be real fun out West. I really like the flex for butters too. I have a pretty jibby buttery style when ripping around, in all mountain and big mountain especially so it would be just the more fun for me.
I've taken the Seths to the park and hitten a few booters and it was real floaty, my friend skis park on his Bacons every once in a while and has alot of fun too. And from trying both of the skis it's hundreds of times easier to spin the Bacons.
Would the EP's just be overkill and force me to work much harder ripping around on groomers but have more fun in powder? Or would I be much better off just getting the Bacons?
