Dont smoke weed at the stomp games, dont drink either for that matter unless you want to have a visit with the lovely sheriff of north Idaho. -just a heads up for ya.
i am going to be there. worth it to at least try, here is why....
Sandpoint, ID - Schweitzer Mountain Resort will host their annual Stomp Games on March 14th through 16th at the Idaho ski area, but the event is moving into the national arena this year. For the first time ever, the winner of the men’s pro skier slopestyle event will receive an invitation to be featured in the next Poor Boyz Productions ski film. The film will be shot at Schweitzer this spring.
"It is such a cool opportunity for one of our region’s great skiers to break into the national scene,” said Patrick Sande, Schweitzer’s marketing manager who helped negotiate the opportunity. “We are really excited to have Poor Boyz coming back this year and that they have agreed to incorporate a Stomp Games athlete into their next production.”
Also new to the event, Dolman, Black and the Brain, a rock band with a laid back style featuring pro skier Micah Black, will play at Taps that night. The free show is open to people 21 and over.
Stomp Games features men’s and women’s divisions in Slopestyle, Rider X and Rail Jam events. All three events are open to pros and amateurs, skiers and snowboarders. The pro division offers a guaranteed $10,000 total cash purse.
oh and for women ski there is a cash purse of $500 first place in slope style. pretty sick.
