Proposal

Alright, here is my proposal.  If you look at the picture part of this website.  There are many categories.  Some of these categories fill up the recently added page (which I like to check daily) with crap.  Between Summer (Pictures that belong on facebook) which has 5778 pictures; People (more pictures that belong on facebook) which has 14504 pictures; Ski Equipment (pictures of peoples crap) which has 2553; and MISC. (generally more crap that no one cares to see, and is generally posted in order to reference to a thread) which has 11960 pictures. This means that over 40% of all the photos on Newschoolers.com aren't ski related (on a skiing specific website).  This means that when I look at the picture page, almost 1/2 of the pictures that I look at are stuff that I really don't care to see (especially someones coat).  I don't really care if people want to post stuff on here to link to threads and stuff, but when they don't make those pictures private, it really makes me angry.  I know that if we turned the system to make all pictures private unless otherwise specified would screw things up, but what if we made it so that if someone selected any of the above mentioned genres, then there picture would automatically get put in their private pictures folder (unless otherwise specified).  To help from peoples private folders from getting over-crowded which would take up bandwidth, we could make each private folder only hold 100 pictures or so, and after that they would have to select a picture to delete before they could add more.  This would keep junk pictures down off of the public media page, it would sure piss me off a lot less, over time less junk would be posted which takes up bandwidth.
