P10 brake broblem

one side of the brake on each ski drags a little so that on sharp carve turns it touches snow and almost ended up in a yardsale. also it makes me really nervous to ride switch. whats the right way to bend them up?

Are they super wide for the skis? Cause i know that i have wide breaks on my not-so-wide-skis and i sometimes have the same problem

so its reall a problem, not a broblem. but anyway, ive seen the method where u use a metal pipe of some sort but i dont have a metal pipe just sittin in my dorm room...

nah there normal breaks on my STL so that is not the problem, i think the plastic housing is a little losse, so i have to compensate for it by bending the break up

dammit, i havent done a 5 in the last 2 weeks cuz of this problem and no matter what i try i cant fix the brakes im gettin really frustrated

if you can, post a pic of the brake and the part that catches - sounds like you need to bend.

as you can see, ive already tried bending it up just with pliers. its not workin for me. is there any special way to do it?

u can tell that it starts downward out of the casing. i have skied a lot of days on these so i think the casing is a little loosey goosy

problem solved, just got a friend to pull up on the dragging side while i held the other side of the brake down

there ya go..

Rather than pliers, the best method for bending would be to use some type of steel pole - e.g. ski pole, bike seat, etc..much better leverage
