I just bought some brand new 18" 5Zigen FN01R-Cs. I usually buy cheaper brand wheels, like the $400 ones, but decided to go all out on these. They ran me $900 shipped. I got them and took them to Less Schwab to get my tires mounted on. I come back an hour later and see 2 dings on one of the rims. Naturally, I'm pissed. I talked to the manager for a long time, but he kept saying the guy who did the work said he didn't do it, and they were probably like that before. After a bunch of debate he ended up not charging me for the balance....so it was $75 to get them mounted instead of $125. Now every time I look at the back right wheel, I get frustrated. Anyone else ever had this happen?
So, I guess next time I take in some wheels, I am going to stand by the garage and stare at the guy as he mounts them.
