THE QUIT SMOKING THREAD

I was down to half a pack a day about two days ago. (Newport 100s)
I just decided to quit, threw away the pack and left. Started regreting my decision about 30 minutes after. This was two or three days ago. I found a few buts in my car with a bit of tobacco still left in them. Loaded up my pipe and smoked two bowls of tobacco. Crazy good buzz for like 5 minutes and then it was over. Still trying to quit. I'm killing myself because I want to get a pack pretty bad right now. I've been trying to hold out but I'm all of out of butts and nothing to smoke.

Never start smoking atleast a lot. Its hard to quit, really hard.

YO this is straight psychology, my teacher told my class once and apparently it works,

so if you wake up at like 8 am everyday and have your first cigarette at 9 am, the next day have your first one at 9 30 am, then the next day at 10 am and so on and so forth...and then you'll go to sleep before you have one...something like that, maybe i cant remember it, anyways maybe that works, just thought id try and help

i have no self control when it comes to cigs...me and my boyfriend kinda started smoking together when we started dating almost a year ago..its really bad...we have tried to quit several times but always find outselves buying a pack every once and a while..it used to be an everyday thing..buy a pack...go out to dinner..smoke a cig...go home have sex...smoke a cig...watch a movie..take 5 smoke breaks....bad bad bad!! still havent quit. i cant walk without gettin windedd

I have never smoked cigs, and never will.  I did how ever smoke weed.  I quit a few months ago because I could feel myself getting burnt.

i am officially done smoking and chewing. ive quit for a while then gotten back etc etc, well this is my last time, i had 2 packs of reds and a full tin of kodiak that i straight up crushed and emptied out, sure thats a waste of money but after i look at all the money ive spent, i would be spending way more just ruining my life, so i am officialy done now. NO MORE! its a problem when im outta breath after walking... only walking! across my campus. so goodbye tobacco.
