I swear by it...liners dry out quickly, and keeps the odors down.

Just don't overdo it or it will clump up and then be really lumpy and uncomfortable. I really don't think gold bond works that well. I think stuffing wadded up newspaper in there works way better.

There is also this stuff that comes in a yellow bottle designed for shoes and boots.  Pretty cheap and it works.
