ski park and backcountry but the bindings will be mounted on my park skis so thats what the bindings have to perform well at
din 12 enough or should i go with 14?

Go to a shop. Ask them. They have a Din chart, and can set your bindings right for a half decent price.
if you're super dooper awesome and way more advanced than the din they give you, turn it up. Duh.
