 this is about "global warming" (global weirding and climate change as it should be reffered to as) so stop here if you don't wanna see it.

just my quick thought on the founder of the weather channel wanting to sue al gore for fraud- http://www.citizensugar.com/1093812

i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i don't mind that there are tons of people who don't think humans have anything to do with climate change, but when you just outright go against a mass movement towards a better society and possible better environment, why cause a disruption and tell everyone that there is no need to change our ways?

someone on here said it best when they stated something like- "even if global warming isn't real and influenced by human behavior, is it that bad that we're working on creating a better sustainable environment for ourselves and generations after us to live on?"

i couldn't agree more, and when i see or hear about people that just like to go against the grain because it makes them feel important, it makes me want to shoot them in the head with a B-B gun when they're not looking.

again, i respect everyone's opinions and i have not done anywhere near enough research to form an opinion for myself on whether or not we are responsible, but one thing that i can whole-heartedly agree on is that the changes we are making are great, and there is no reason to stop the progress being made towards a cleaner, "greener," sustainable lifestyle.

exactly. people don't want to deal with an issue unless it directly affects them. we figure, we can pump chemical waste into the air and nothing will happen, well after about 1.5 centuries of industrialization, shits going down.

we always need to protect the environment, this earth is our only known place of existence. we have yet to discover another feasibly-reachable planet on which we can transport life. We need to protect our world cause it is the only one we have.

yea aside from the fact that i think humans are definitely causing global warming, i completely agree. The 100% accuracy of Al Gore doesn't detract from his point, and the vast majority of what he said was true. His movie was not crazy propaganda for some radical idea, it was simply trying to show the drastic effects of a phenomenon that is known to exist by the entire scientific community. There's no reason to sue to gain awareness for anti-environmentalism. Thats irresponsible and just stupid.

no see i agree, but at the same time i hate nothing more than when people are like "you shouldnt be driving a car why dont you walk, what do you want this earth to die i bet youd love to see your kids die from you" not the same quote by quote but you know what i mean, i dislike alot the extremists, if your trying to save the earth keep it to yourself you dont need to flaunt it around to feel good about yourself

yeh, i agree global warming/climate change sucks.  and we are not doing enough about it.  Laws need to be passed and regulations need to be set, like better emission standards.  American's r way to concerned with comfort, we refuse (for the most [art, don't hate on me if this is not u, but remember, u r not the majority) to give them up.
