They aren't great in deep stuff, ut other than that they are fine everywhere. Pretty flexy, so they definitely won't "charge" like say a Prophet 100 or something like that, but a very fun ski nonetheless. I love mine.

i just bought some and used them last weekend as my everything ski. super fun. but the low tips do make the ski catch when going through crud. and the top sheets kinda suck just like everyother line ski ive had.

if your gunna be more park oriented, the i would go with the anthems, but if your looking for more of a all mountain ski and not a park ski then get the prophet 90s or 100s... they are a little stiffer, a little wider ( the 100's that is) and you mount them back a little further so you will float a little better in powder than a center mount ski would
im about your size, a little heavier, but i loved both skis when i tried them... so you really cant go wrong, just figure out where you want the ski to perform better, the park or the mountain

im bit lighter than you but i think Line Elizabeths kill it for what you described... unless you wanna get crazy tech in the park they are perfect

Yeah, i was gonna say lizzes. Or check out moments line up for next year.. or next years blends. Anthems are gonna be shit for charging crested. If you were only skiing summit, then they'd work fine.. but CB is diff.

Agreed, if your getting into the better terrain at crested i think ur gonna want a more stable ski, i haven't ridden the anthems so i cant really say but it depends what part of the mountain your skiing.

You should totally get some Kung Fujas! I checked them out in person last weekend and they look sooo sick. They're fat enough for all mountain. And they're pretty soft. The graphics are sick as usual. I mean it's a risk because it's a new ski, but i think they won't disappoint. I know i'm ordering myself a pair of them.

They do sound like a better fit for CB than the anthems

another ski that would be good for you would be next years line blends. the made them 100 underfoot but still kept the flex so it would be a perfect ski too...

The kung fujas is the original seth pistol... so it'd be a good choice too for sure.

very helpful thanks, i have invaders now so if im only skiing park ill use them, but i have chronics too, and sometimes they seem to stiff in powder like im working way to hard. but charging on those is amazing. heard the lizzies were a good mix. im going to ride at crested in 2 weeks and im demo-ing the shops big troubles just for a wide ski comparison. any thoughts on those?

and they have a similar flex to the chronics, so theyll still kill it in the park, plus the new sidewall is double the thickness of the old one so theyre burly as shit

yeah, I live in Crested Butte and you'll thank yourself later for getting something a little stiffer. THE PARK AT CB SUCKS. ALWAYS WILL. There is a reason that Volkl Gotamas, and Volkl Mantras are so popular here. A good ski for Crested Butte is the Seth pro model. I don't know your riding style or anything like that, I see lots of people shredding the extremes on park skis and I see people bringing Armada ANTs and Volkl Gotamas in the park. I would demo the Anthems before. See how well they hold an edge when making turns down steep terrain where all the snow has been slid off, because 7 out of 10 times at the Butte...that's how all the "good" terrain is going to be.

metal in prophet, carbon in blend

blends tips are narrower than the 100's more of a park/all moutain side cut, prophets are more of a charger, blends are turn the whole mountain into a terrain park

how do you think the blends behave on bumps or moguls cause there is usually alot of them out west.

go right over them on big skis

heard lots of shady construction about the blends this year, and next year they are changing it again, do you think it will be better or more problems?

The quality of the blend has been good all along. Line's sidewall construction skis hold up great, so I wouldn't expect the change from cap to sidewall to affect its quality either. Blends are a great choice. Just not as soft as you what you were wanting before.
But let me tell you.. I rode invaders/anthems etc etc.. I love soft skis. But my blends F'in ripped.

^Did I say Anthems? No. I was talking about blends. I've only seen one
pair of blends explode.. and they belonged to a kid who was quite sick and rode them basically all season.
And by delaming in 4 spots after 2 days... do you mean top sheet peel from edge nicks/etc? or actual 'delam'? like the core/top-sheet separating from the base.. b/c I find that hard to believe. But if that is the case, get them warrantied, b/c their defective.
